Lakeside Run
Started out at about 5pm to go and do a generic run (no speedwork, no hills, et cetera). The schedule puts us at 30 minutes today, but I “overachieved” a little and did 4.5 miles in 50:51. That’s over an 11 minute mile. Now, this is the second time that I’ve had bad performance on this particular loop, and I’m beginning to have suspicions that its actually more than 4.5 miles. Its the run from MoPac to Congress. I go up past the paper, all the way to the light, over the East side of the bridge, and down past the hotel back to the trail - maybe there’s a shorter path on the West side that gets measured? I really don’t know, but I’m pretty sure that I wasn’t running 11:15s.
