Pre-Noodle Workout
The best thing about working out at the Golds at Burnet and 183 is that a trip to Pho Cong Ly inevitably follows. But enough about that…
Started out with 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, not wanting to run since I’ll be doing the AustinFit thing tomorrow. After that, we talked about doing bench and decided that we did that too often, so hit the dumbells for a series of three - bench (15×45, 15×35, 20×30), shoulder press (3 x 15×25), and an odd curl (80lb barbell, seated, horizontal to vertical only - I did 2 sets of 10).
Next I did arm extensions (tricep) - 12×60, 12×65, 12×70 while Marcus and Jason did lunges. Next, a 3 set of rows (15×80, 15×90, 10×100), pulldowns (15×90, 10×100, 10×100) and lateral pulldowns (15×40). After that, I did my 100 crunches on the Big Pink Ball and we called it a day.
