Was that even a workout?
Well, its the holidays. And that’s a pathetic excuse, but its all I’ve got at the moment. After missing Monday’s 20 minute scheduled run, I was supposed to do 30 today. Hit the gym, found a treadmill, and did … 20. Maybe 22. Still, for some reason it just felt hot, and I was not in the mood to exercise today.
At least I was running 8:57 up a 2% grade.
Anyway, I was there with Jason and we had some good conversation, if not a whole lot else. After the “run”, we did some dumbell work. 3×15x35 chest presses, 3×15x20 flys. And 3×15x50 rows, which felt really heavy. Next, did one set of 15 leg lifts since the crunch row was full.
Then we left. Like I said, pretty lame workout - but a good relaxing time, and I guess that was all we were in the mood for. Ah, well. I’ll do better next time.
