Leg Workout
Today, Jason and I met up at the Gold’s on 183 at lunch for a quick and dirty leg workout. The idea was to be done in under an hour. We started out with 10 minutes on the elliptical, then hit the floor for some exercises, doing 3 sets of 10-12 reps on each one.
Single leg lifts (hamstrings): 85 lbs
Single leg extensions (quads): 70 lbs
Standing calf raises: 240 lbs
Seated leg press: 180 lbs
Adductors (legs together): 180 lbs
Abductors (legs apart): 200 lbs
I ended up maxing the adductor machine, so we need to add more reps on that one going forward. Maybe just 12-15 for now - don’t get me wrong, it was pretty hard to do. The leg workout at 183 is nicer than the one downtown, their machines may be older but they seem to work better.
And all together, including some stretching, we were changed and out of there in under an hour. As Jason would say, “Sweet!”
