Another workout
Today’s workout was fun. Hooked up with Marcus and Jason at Gold’s, and did some simple upper body stuff. Did a little running to start, including a few spurts at a 6:00 pace which felt really fun. I want to do that more, and soon. Kept things relatively light on the weights, doing 10-15 reps of each:
Bench press: 3 x 42.5
Incline press: 3 x 35
Wide grip pulldowns: 110, 120, 110
Row: 3 x 90
Tricep singles: 3 x 20
Bicep iso bar curls: 3 x 60
Anterior shoulder raise: 3 x 20
Shoulder press: 30
Back curls: 2 sets of 20
Incline situps: 1 set of 20
Straight leg lifts: 1 set of 20
On the shoulder press, I did one set just fine and then twisted my back a little getting into the second set - between the 3rd and 4th reps, just felt it tweak and lowered the dumbells immediately. I stopped, but it wasn’t really feeling good (not bad, just not good) so I didn’t try again today. That was it for the workout.
