Thank You
I just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes for tomorrow’s race. I’ll be honest here - I’d be a lot happier if it was next weekend rather than tomorrow. My sleep schedule is completely off; between Vegas, the timezones, and red-eye flights, I’ve been getting to bed at 5am all week until today (in bed at two, up around 10) - tomorrow I’m supposed to be waking up at 6. My stiffness is a bit better, thanks to some regular stretching, but I’m not exactly feeling one hundred percent. Even so, I’m going to go out there and give it my best tomorrow. My original goal was to break 50:00. I’m still going to go out there with that in mind, but I’m more than willing to back off a little if I have to. All in all, not my best preparation. Still, having said that, I’m still determined to have a good time out there…

yeah, and sometimes it is when conditions are not optimum when we are challenged more fully. If you feel like crap and run well, it is sometimes a bigger accomplishment.
Give her hell Richard!
