Rain
We had about five inches of rain last night. The trail is, undoubtedly, a mess. There are road closures, rain delays, and other charming consequences throughout the area. I’ll do my speedwork later this evening, on the treadmill.

I'm Richard Stanford, a fit, happy runner. Of course, that wasn't always the case. Dip into the archives to follow my progress from couch potato to sub-four hour marathoner.

Heh. I looked out the window this afternoon, and this was this mysterious light on out there. I couldn’t figure out what it was, and then I realized that’s what it looked like when the sun was out, and that was supposed to be “normal” for during the afternoon! It had been a while…
So, you could have taken advantage and run outside!

This morning the dog walked outside, did an honest-to-gosh U turn and came right back in. What a sloshy mess. I skipped my run because the storm kept me awake. So tomorrow I’m committed. Dammit.
