Good workout
Well, this is going better than before. I made it into the gym today for a workout, although I ended up doing another upper body focus with Marcus instead of my scheduled lower body. I was pretty stiff from Friday and so we ended up doing some higher rep, lighter weight dumbell work and covering chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps, back, et cetera. This time we got some decent ab work in as well, which was good.
We did start with 3 miles on the treadmill at completely random speeds. At first we talked about doing a mock 5K race, but we both went out way too fast. Running sub-7:00 in a hot gym with poor airflow is no way to get three miles in, and I wore myself out pretty well; I ended up moving up and down the scale from 12:00 recovery paces to 6:00 sprints, and all points in between. Not very useful, perhaps, but fun.
