Intervals
So I did some interval running this morning on the seven mile loop. The first mile was a pretty slow warmup, and then I ran three minutes hard, one minute gentle, until I got to the six mile point; a final one mile at a comfortable 9:30 finished things off.
I don’t remember how long it took me - my watch is in the car - but it was pretty similar to a normal easy run, around an hour. Lightly structured but more than just fartleks, and a good way to stretch things out in the morning.
Tomorrow I’ll do somewhere between 12-16 miles, depending on how I feel.
