Tuning Run
I went out to do a comfortable 5-7 mile shakedown run around the park, but called it off after only about three miles. Everything felt “off” - I was sore, tight, and breathing hard even with a 9:30 pace - so I headed back to the house and did some stretching instead, followed by a nice hot shower to try to work some of the kinks out of my back. I think this will be more productive than forcing a run that wasn’t meant to be.

I’m worried my 11.5 the other day was forced. Felt terrible at 5, and continued on. But I needed the distance. Ahh.. the dilemma. I’m no where near as far along as I’d like to be.
Good for you for listening and going for a hot shower instead.
