Ups and Downs
Don’t worry - its the good sort. On my way home from the office today I stopped and did about four miles on the hills at a nice slow pace (10:30 +/-). These really helped work out the kinks that I was still feeling after yesterday’s workout, just in time for tomorrow morning’s! We’re going to do 900m repeats at 10k pace, which for me means I’ll be aiming right around 4:15 for each one, so its important for me to be ready. But the hills were good mentally as well. There’s something very soothing about the constant change, just going up and down, left and right, especially since I wasn’t leading the run so I just got to chat and follow. Very cool.
