Recovery Run
No biking today - I need to do at least one (if not both) of my Tuesday/Thursday workouts as running, just to keep my mileage up. That’s how I found myself running along the seven mile loop at six in the morning in the middle of four girls. Its a rough life, being a runner, let me tell you.
While I learned a lot about all sorts of things, from running while pregnant to the fact that rowing guys have the best shoulders, I also got a nice, very casual seven miles down. We ran about a 9:45 pace, plus a couple of water stops, and I kept my heart rate down in the 140s the whole time. Just easy, comfortable, conversational miles: exactly what I was supposed to do today.
