Possible Freescale Course?
WARNING: The following post is not, at all, official. Really. I don’t speak for the Austin Marathon in any way, shape, or form.
We’ve all been waiting eagerly for the final Freescale course to be announced. John’s been dropping little hints here and there, but there’s still nothing official (for very good reason - he’s waiting for final certification of some parts, and doesn’t want to have to change it).
Having said that, well, there are now enough hints out there to come up with a reasonable estimate. Based on my familiarity with the old course, this post, and this comment, I bring you my best guess as to the 2006 Freescale Marathon Course. It may, of course, be completely wrong. There are some parts of it that are flat out guesswork, and the distances are off a touch, due to my bad assumptions and my less than perfect google-map skillz.
Its probably pretty close.

Jay pointed out that we run East on North Loop rather than Northland; doing that does make quite a bit more sense. So you see, there’s a glitch in my map already.
