3 Hilly Miles
Or can I call this a 5K? Its not quite, but its close. Thon kindly offered to do what for him is a recovery run, and what for me is a nasty hilly training exercise. I think that I’ll be doing it a lot in the next month or two. Its gradual but intense (at times), scenic, provides for adequate recovery after the hills, and has the advantage that, if I do it with Thon, I can drink his coffee afterwards. That’s pretty cool.
Today my only goal was to make it without walking, and I did. I had a hard time recovering after the tallest hill at mile two, so next time I’ll try to take it a little easier (effort, not looking at pace at this point) and see if I’m stronger on the last one.
