Morning Run
Its becoming a tradition - another 2.84 miles of hills under my belt. Today felt harder than last week, possibly because the weather was such crap (thick and muggy - well, relatively speaking). Also, mile 1 was 15 seconds faster than Wednesday’s run, and mile 2 was 20 seconds faster. Mile 3 was identical. I’m not going to obsess over the numbers or anything, but for what felt like the same “effort” (if less enjoyment), things are starting to happen.
Honestly, I expect to see some pretty rapid gains over the next 4-6 weeks. Coming off an injury means that my base is very low right now, and anything will be an improvement. Still, it will be nice to see how that plays out over time.
